“It is only a thought and a thought can be changed.” ~Louise Hay

Dear Universe,

I am a fan of mantras—you know, phrases you repeat out loud or to yourself in an effort to inspire hope, healing or manifesting your future.  I know mantras—or affirmations—have become a more common term, but I think I always used them, long before I knew that’s what I was doing.

When I was younger it was the voice that repeated, “You can do this” before a presentation at school or a big exam.

When I was a little older it was the voice that repeated, “You can accomplish whatever you set your mind to.”

And still I have mantras that pop up on their own, arriving in times of need.

Sometimes though, I choose them deliberately based on a circumstance or situation that is occurring.

Lately I’ve found myself sharing my mantras with others when they need that extra boost.

I wanted to share some of some of the ones I’ve recently found most helpful in the hope they may help or inspire others.  Here they are!

To begin your day positively:  “This day brings me nothing but joy.”

When anxiety creeps in:  “All is well.”

On worrying about the present:  “Everything is working out in the best possible way.”

On worrying about the future:  “I trust that my path is shining bright for me. I cannot lose my way.”  (Tweet that!)

On confusion:  “I may not understand the good in this situation, but it is there.”

On change:  “I embrace this change with ease and gratitude.”

On fear:  “My faith is stronger than my fear.”

On fear of making the right decision:  “I trust that I will make the best choice for me at the best time.”

On fear of getting something you want:  “I release my fear and my dream becomes near.”  Or, “What’s meant for me will not pass me by.”

On wanting clarity that’s not present yet:  “I trust that the right information will come to me at the right time.”

On waiting to find love:  “I trust that love and divine timing will deliver what’s best for me.”

On wishing someone else well:  “I send love and light to _____.”

On forgiveness:  “I forgive and release any anger I have about/towards _____.”

On letting go:  “I let go of what no longer serves my higher good.”  (Feel free to be specific.)

On being angry or frustrated:  “I choose love.”  Or, “I choose to look at/react to this situation with love.”

On gratitude:  “I am grateful for the blessings I have and the ones on their way.”

I hope these mantras are helpful! What are your go-to mantras these days?

Thank you for allowing words to help, heal and offer me hope.  I am so grateful for that.

Much Gratitude,

A

  1. Love this post – both inspiring, calming and hopeful. And my fav is the one on faith and fear. Mantras (and affirmations) work. When we send signals to our brain, it listens:) How we interpret the world is how our experiences unfold in our lives.
