“When a dream comes to you, follow it. Follow it even when it’s hard—especially then—and whenever possible, pause to give a heartfelt thanks for the path you are on.”
Dear Universe,
Today I am feeling especially grateful thinking about tomorrow.
Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of the day I launched my online shop and announced to all of you that I had been working on designing jewelry. I was beyond excited to get my creations out into the world and share them with all of you and a year later I am still just as passionate! (Click here to read my post from last year!)
Starting a business isn’t easy. I know everyone always says that, but until you are deep in the trenches, you don’t really know what that means.
This year has been filled with more challenges, delays and roadblocks than I care to relive, but this year has also been filled with so many milestones and exciting opportunities.
I will say this. At every roadblock I would stop and question if I wanted to keep going, and then I would quickly realize it wasn’t a question at all.
When you discover your passion and what brings you joy, you don’t want to stop. You just want to go and go faster. (Tweet that!)
And when your passion happens to be inspiring others to live their best lives, and to spread some joy and happiness, there’s a deep pit in your soul that won’t let you stop.
I will also say this last year reminded me how lucky I am to have such supportive people around me who see the vision when I sometimes get frustrated and who help in any way they can: hosting parties, packaging orders, meeting me at factories, coming to my events, standing behind booths, cheering me on at speaking engagements… I could go on and on.
I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so much love. And I feel grateful every day that I get to pursue this dream to bring a little more inspiration and happiness to your lives.
With every package I send out, I hope you feel the love when it arrives. With every email or message I respond to, I hope you feel my deep appreciation and gratitude.
It never gets old. I’m always just as excited.
And this is why this anniversary is so important for me to acknowledge. It’s not just about this past year. It’s a celebration of how far I’ve come. If someone had told me ten years ago what my life would be like today, I wouldn’t have believed it. I would have liked to, but I wouldn’t be able to see how it would happen or how it would all be possible.
Anything is possible, sweet souls. Anything.
So today, and all this week, I want to celebrate. And I want you to join me in the celebratory fun! Come over to my Instagram page and be sure to put your post notifications on because you won’t want to miss all the exciting offers I have in store for you!
(Not on Instagram? Follow me on Facebook or just keep checking back in the store. And be sure to join the store’s email list so you can get special offers all throughout the year.)
As most of you probably know, this anniversary is extra special because Thanksgiving is my favorite time of year. Whenever possible, I practice gratitude and this is my small way of saying a big thank you for all the love and support you have given me.
Thanks for being a part of my journey. It wouldn’t be possible without all of you. And not a day goes by where I don’t silently think thank you, thank you, thank you.
Cheers to the next year and beyond!
With Gratitude,
